FLOWER FUNDRAISER BEGINS! – Plant selections and an order form are posted right outside the church office. Please use an envelope and leave payment in the church office. Shady Lane Greenhouse is also offering a “Give Back” option. Shop at the greenhouse anytime between now and June 30th and make sure to mention Christ the Life at checkout. CTL will then receive 25% of your purchase amount! Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to replace the shade structure just outside the backdoor to the playground.
ADULT BIBLE CLASS – The last day of Adult Bible Class will be Sunday, April 6. We will resume after Labor Day with a study of Luther’s Small Catechism.
PALM SUNDAY POTLUCK BRUNCH – Join us on Palm Sunday, April 13, after worship for a potluck. Please sign up on the large bulletin board and let us know how many people to expect and what type of dish you’ll bring. If you can help with table and chair set up on Friday afternoon, evening, or Saturday morning, please sign up for that as well.
END OF SCHOOL YEAR PICNIC & PIG ROAST - Friday, June 6 starting at 5:30 pm with dinner at 6:00 pm – This year, we are going to have Maple Creek Farm roast a pig for us and have families bring a dish to pass. We will still have the bounce houses and all the fun fellowship. Cost is $13 per adult and $4 per child. Save the date and plan to join us! A signup sheet will be posted closer to the date.
LENTEN WORSHIP – Mid-week Lenten services continue each Wednesday until Holy Week. Services are at 10:00 am and 7:00 pm. The name of our Lenten series is “Lamb of God, Pure and Holy.”
